Tadd Chapman takes to a Traveling Road Show - Next Stop, Vancouver in September!
August, 2013 | San Jose del Cabo
After having successfully achieved stellar results representing Los Cabos and gastronomy in the destination, Tadd Chapman was selected by FITURCA as the Guest Chef to attend the Vancouver Trade Show promoting Mexican tourism and real estate during the first week of September called Mexi-Go! Expo.
MexicoFest began in 2008 as a celebration of the anniversary of Mexico's Independence and has grown into the most important festival to be hosted by the Consulate of Mexico in British Columbia. Due to the growing interest the festival has attracted from the local community, MexicoFest has become an opportunity to feature some of our renowned tourist spots and a way to bring about a greater understanding of Mexico.
During MexicoFest 2011 events were featured on local English and Spanish TV, radio and newspapers and in a Chinese language publication. More than 15,000 people enjoyed the festivities, and this year, they expect to reach approximately over 50,000 with a huge advertising campaign.
The Consulate General in coordination with the CCIME Western Canada, the Mexican Tourism Board in Vancouver, and the Mexican Trade Commission are dedicated to strengthening the cultural exchange and presence of Mexico with the local and international community of British Columbia. It is with great pleasure and pride that Tadd Chapman has been invited this year to represent the culinary tourism found in Los Cabos, Mexico.
